Send a soldier a holiday care package

The Trinity Lutheran Church, 370 Bowen St, (Corner of Bowen and Washington St.) have launched their annual “Sponsor a Package” program, an annual holiday campaign to send care packages to our men and women soldiers that are serving our nation in various parts of the world. A care package could be sent, in your name, to one of these heroes. We will be honored to ship your choice of Toiletry or Food Pack. If you choose, we will include your personal card or letter. Please bring your donations of items or checks either on Saturday, November 14th or November 28th..

Please enter the south doors off the parking lot where there will be someone to help with your donations Our office is open Monday- Friday all week from 9:00 AM to 4:00 Pm to accept donations if you are unable to make the above collection dates. All donations must be in no later than Friday, December 4th. by 3:00 p.m.

On Saturday, December 5th we will have our “packing party” which includes a chili dump dinner for the members of Trinity Church who are helping to get all the donated items sorted and packed for shipping. Our packages are carefully wrapped and beautifully presented The following is a list of items needed to fill our care packages.

Your financial donation of any amount or $10.00 or $25.00 will help pay for items included and for shipping costs. You may pay with cash or by check. Make checks payable to Trinity Lutheran Church or to Operation Care Package. If you choose to send a card or letter, please include it, unsealed. We will have a supply of cards for you if you don’t have one. Your letter/card will be included in one of our boxes. For security and privacy purposes, the church does not share names or information on the troops that these packages will be sent to, however if you have a specific soldier you want to send a package to, we will take care of the shipping for you. Bring along the correct and complete name and address.
